This is an amazing company. The service they provide is great but you want to know what's better...the customer service! It's amazing. Been with this company for a few years now. Excellent service. Super speedy and very reliable, especially when sending an email explaining the issue (the AI chatbot is not great). The service is usually flawless and runs in the background. However, on the odd occasion that I needed to contact customer service they have been very fast and efficient. I've been a SDP customer for years and years. For a technical service that is pretty much a cat-and- mouse game with the streaming providers, it can be more than expected that the occasional glitch appears. SDP has a multi-level customer service – starting with the ultra speedy first level support, which is versed enough to provide quick adequate "canned help". After that, issues can be escalated to 2nd level support and ultimately to the network engineers, which might take a day or two, but is always competent and helpful. I feel in very good hands for my personal smart DNS / VPN requirements. I don't see any justifiable reason to switch to another provider.

As a British expat living in Spain I was missing out on some of my favourite English speaking TV shows so I started using Smart DNS Proxy and was delighted with the service over Christmas. I then went away for a week shutting down my router, TV and computer. Upon returning I was unable to tune into BBC iPLAYER so I contacted the tech team at Smart DNS Proxy. After a very quick response (10 mins) I received an email with instructions on reconfiguring my settings. This didn't work so I made contact again and I received another fast reply suggesting I try new DNS IP’s and detailed instructions of what to do. Success! Everything is working perfectly now. I'm a UK expat living in the Middle East. Smart DNS Proxy allows me to access worldwide TV content that would otherwise be geoblocked. I signed up because I got sick of VPNs that couldn't always guarantee me access to UK TV channels (I am a Brit living in the US). The final straw was the restart of the Formula 1 season; my VPN worked for BBC but not for ITV or Channel 4. Once the setup was complete, a couple of email queries were answered promptly, and since then service has been flawless. All UK TV on-demand services worked perfectly - which was my main requirement in signing up. Netflix USA worked, after subscribing, although there was some buffering, which isn't normal with my local service - although that may have been a broadband issue. Hopefully, a one-off. The setup on a windows PC and on an XBox One was extremely easy and the performance is great! We watch Zattoo TV from Switzerland. I tried Unlocator before which is considered to be one of the best services. However, very amazingly the performance was very poor (stuttering playback).

I have been really impressed with the smart DNS. I stumbled upon by chance having been looking for a way to access streaming services that were blocking traditional DNS codes I had been obtaining and using very easily. It has been about a week I've been using your service, at the beginning I had some issues streaming but I used your support chat and got an immediate response, that was awesome. I've been using another DNS service for about 4 years, but since the Netflix crack down it has been a night mare since they don't allow to disable the Netflix service. I just want to say that the service is working perfectly after the Netflix action to block regional content. I was using a VPS to connect to other content but with smartDNS allows me to watch content from different regions. Works great, without "pixelation" problem (depending the DNS you choose). My first attempt was with another Smart DNS service. The internet speed was much reduced and it didn't manage to unblock for me Netflix neither in US nor in UK. I thought everything was over, but after a thoroughly comparison between two popular providers, I decided to give a try to Smart DNS Proxy. To my surprise, the internet speed is (almost) as good as with my internet provider DNS, and much more, it manages to unblock both Netflix and Amazon Video in US and UK. I am very happy now, and going to subscribe for a 24 months package. Also, not to forget, their customer service was a big point in helping me to decide to try their service. I am trying your dns proxy service because unlocator doesn't do what is says and purevpn is very up and down and too slow. If your service continues to work you will have a customer for life. I use it for streaming from hulu and Netflix. Thanks.

I am still using my trial subscription. I was signed up with Unblockus but am disappointed in their lack of communication during the "netflix proxy issue". Smart Dns proxy however has been very communicative during this trying time and I am very impressed with your level of support and how quickly you have resolved the issue. It is for this reason that I will be switching my trial subscription with you to a paid subscription. You've made the decision very easy. You are the only proxy service that has been so open about where you are with the issues at hand and I appreciate that. So far I've just been using the free two week trial - I'd like to start by saying this is a great way to see how it works in practice. To give people full use like this demonstrates a certain confidence in their product, and from what I've seen so far it's completely warranted. Easy to set up (to be fair, manually editing the router DNS settings didn't bother me although I think some might be less inclined to do this) and all working as advertised.
